Guy's "strong law of small numbers " states that there aren't enough small numbers to meet the many demands made of them.
Guy (1988) also gives several interesting and misleading facts about small numbers:
1. 10% of the first 100 numbers are square numbers .
2. A quarter of the numbers are primes .
3. All numbers less than 10, except for 6, are prime powers .
4. Half the numbers less than 10 are Fibonacci numbers .
