Hexadecagon

Hexadecagon

A 16-sided polygon, sometimes also called a hexakaidecagon. The regular hexadecagon is a constructible polygon, and the inradius r, circumradius R, and area A of the regular hexadecagon of side length 1 are

r=1/2(1+sqrt(2)+sqrt(2(2+sqrt(2))))
(1)
R=sqrt(1/2(4+2sqrt(2)+sqrt(20+14sqrt(2))))
(2)
A=4(1+sqrt(2)+sqrt(2(2+sqrt(2)))).
