The polyhedron compound of the great icosahedron () and the small stellated dodecahedron (), sometimes known as the great cid. Four faces meet at each edge of the great complex icosidodecahedron. The solid is difficult to visualize since all vertices and edges are coincident, so the small stellated dodecahedron is shown with perforated faces in the above illustration.
