Empty Clause


An empty clause is a clause defined from an empty set of literals. It is variously denoted emptyset, _|_, or  square .

The truth evaluation of an empty disjunctive clause is FALSE, whereas the truth evaluation of an empty conjunctive clause is TRUE.
